Tony and I brought Singer home almost a year ago and we would highly recommend Dawn and Stevens Danes! We attend a Great Dane Meet-up in Atlanta monthly, as well as visit the dog park weekly. Each time we take Singer to these activities, other dog (and Dane) owners tell us how healthy and beautiful he is. There are several owners at the Great Dane Meet-up who tell us he is the healthiest and best-looking Dane they have ever seen. We have not had any health or behavioral problems with Singer. He is 100% the picture of a perfect Dane. Singer has the best temperament, loves all dogs, big and small, and is wonderful with kids. He is also the protective watchdog that makes us feel safe in our home. We love the fact that Dawn keeps in touch with us and cares so deeply about her babies...past, present, and future! If you are looking to add a Great Dane to your family, you can not go wrong with a Dane from Stevens Danes!

I purchased my first Dane in November, 2006 from Stevens Danes. I named him Jackson. He is a blue male with white markings on his chest and toes and is very handsome! He is a very good and calm dog. He loves to play, but he also loves to snuggle. When new people meet him, they always comment on how well behaved he is. He is a very healthy and happy dog! He is definitely all that I had expected and more!
I visited Stevens Danes before we purchased Jackson from them. All of their facilities were very clean and well maintained. I love the set up that they have for the puppies. We were able to interact with ALL of their dogs and played with Lady (Jackson’s mom) a lot.
Dawn was very helpful with any questions that I had the entire time before and after I got my puppy. I had about 1,000 questions and she helped me with every single one. She followed up with me after I brought Jackson home and we still keep in touch on a regular basis. I would highly recommend Stevens Danes as a place to purchase a Great Dane. They are very helpful, socialize their pups well, and care about all of the puppies as if they were planning to keep them for themselves. I would definitely purchase another Dane from them and I plan to do so very soon so that Jackson has a play mate!

I purchased my Dane from Dawn Stevens in November, 2006. I named him Zeke. He is a black male with white markings on his chest and feet. He is a very smart dog with a strong personality. He tries to make the rules, but when he figures out that he can’t, he is quick to learn my rules. He met all of my expectations that I had for him and was very healthy when I brought him home, just as he still is today!
I was able to visit the facilities at Stevens Danes before I purchased Zeke. They were all not only clean and well maintained, but well organized also. I was able to see and interact with all of their Danes. Zeke’s mom (Lady) was extremely nice, especially considering the fact that we were around her puppies! The father did not belong to the Stevens and lived off-site, so we did not get to meet him, but we saw his picture and his pedigree and we were satisfied with it.
Dawn was helpful in answering the questions that I had about my puppy before and after I got him. She followed up with me after I brought him home and we still keep in touch very often. Dawn is awesome! She was organized and prepared, nothing left undone. She did everything just right and even added some extras. I would not hesitate to recommend Dawn and her Danes to anyone looking for a beautiful, sweet, and healthy pet! She loves her dogs and that is obvious by the care and attention to detail she displays. When I am ready for another Dane, I will purchase another from her.

I purchased my Dane in November, 2006, from Stevens Danes. His name is Jupiter. He is a black male with white markings. I was in Iraq when I purchased him. Dawn was great to deal with! She helped me with any questions that I had and emailed me all the time with pictures and updates the whole time I was in Iraq until I could get home to see him. Dawn & Jerry then surprised me the day after I came home by bringing Jupiter to my home so that I could spend time with my family. He was definitely everything that I had expected! He was very healthy when I got him as well as now. Jupiter is a great dog who is very good with children and my nieces love him! He loves to play with everyone! Dawn has kept in touch with me ever since I got him. I would definitely recommend and have recommended Stevens Danes to anyone looking for a Dane of their own to love. Everything that you do is right on the money. I plan to get another one from you in the next few years myself!

I purchased a puppy from Stevens Danes from their March, 2007 litter. His name is Sanford. He is a blue male with white on his chest and toes. He is BEAUTIFUL!!! He was very healthy when I got him as well as now. He met all of my expectations and more!
Sanford is such a sweet dog! I have 4 children ranging in age from 4 months to 10 years and he is so sweet to all of them!! He is very protective of the baby and sits next to her all the time. He loves on all of the kids and showers them with kisses. The kids can be wild at times, but Sanford plays right along with them and never gets testy with them. He is a sweet, gentle baby!!!
Sanford is a beautiful dog and everyone that sees him comments on how gorgeous he is and what a sweet baby he is. My vet was so impressed with all the information that Dawn had provided--I had a folder of information from her on our first appointment and he made the comment that most breeders don't provide you with so much information. He was very pleased at how well organized all his health records were. It made me feel good to know that he was in such a loving and caring home before he came to me!! Dawn was so helpful and kept in contact with me during the whole pregnancy and sent me weekly updates and pictures after they were born. She is always available to answer any questions and checks up on Sanford often. It is obvious that she really loves all her babies and takes great pride in them.
We were able to visit Stevens Danes on two different occasions. The entire property was very clean and well maintained. The dog's areas were very clean and appeared to be cleaned often!! We were able to meet and interact with all of their Danes while we were there. They were all so sweet!! My favorite was Smoke, he was gorgeous and such a big loving baby!--RIP big boy. They were all so gentle and loving--I wanted to take them all home!!
Dawn was helpful in my decision making and with any questions that I had before and after I brought Sanford home. I would highly recommend a dog from Stevens Danes to anyone wanting a Great Dane. They are the nicest people and truly love their animals. They are upfront and honest and willing to answer any questions. I hope to get another Great Dane in the future and will absolutely get one from Stevens Danes. We purchased our first Great Dane, Layla, from Stevens Danes March, 2007 litter. Layla is a blue female with a white spot on the back side of her front and back paw. Layla has been such a sweet heart. She loves to play and is great with children. She is an inside dog and does very well. We were a little nervous at first because we knew that she was going to grow up to be a very big dog, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Layla was a very healthy puppy when we picked her up as well as now. When we first visited Stevens Danes all of their dogs were very friendly and wanted to play. Their facilities were very clean. All of their dogs are well taken care of and have lots of room to play. When you visit Stevens Danes you can definitely tell that they truly love their dogs and are looking out for their best interest!
The website is such a pleasure to look at. We love to watch all of Layla’s brothers and sisters grow. Dawn and Jerry have been very helpful answering any questions that we have had. Dawn sent us home with lots of helpful information and organized copies of all Layla’s health records. We still visit Stevens Danes regularly. We live just minutes away, so we have brought Layla back for occasional visits. We love to play with all of the dogs. They are the biggest, sweetest babies!
All of our experiences with Stevens Danes have been great. They have kept in touch with us to make sure that everything is still going good and to check to see how Layla is doing. They are great people and we would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a beautiful Great Dane puppy as a new member of their family! Dawn & Jerrry purchased "Lady" from me, so I know personally that she has an excellent temperament! I am very impressed with how they maintain their facility. I am also pleased with how they love and care for their animals. All of their Danes are regularly socialized with other people, so therefore, they interact well with all of their visitors. I would recommend these breeders to anyone who wants a beautiful Dane that has already been pre-spoiled!

Stella is doing well and adjusting to life in her new home. Her doctor was so impressed by the records you kept on all the puppies and stated he had never seen such detail go into puppy records. Stella is healthy and has a beautiful shiny coat. She is smart and sassy. She is currently learning to “sit” and “come”. She has gained over 7 pounds in the last two weeks and is growing up. My house was full of joy for ten years with my Great Dane, Andi. Stella has filled the quiet house with the thump-thump of her large feet and squeaks from her toys; a home is not a home without a Great Dane. I have attached a current photo for your website.
